7th Ranch RV Camp did not have 70 level sites. We saw a motorhome with it’s wheels off the ground to get level.

This campground would not give a Veteran’s discount, only active duty discount. There were many sunflowers planted all around, causing lots of bees. All campsites face 100 degree’s in the afternoon.

  1. We stayed here in a fifth wheel in October 2012. I thought the campground layout was very unique, as it is terraced, with each campsite, though small, having a “homey” feel: picnic table, grill box, small night light, even landscapes with flowers! It is out in the middle of nowhere, but not way far off I-90. It is up high looking down into the valley and I-90 below. I expected a very quiet night. What I got was TRAINS! Many of them, with 20 minute intervals between. Down in that peaceful valley is a whole network of RR tracks. Not only the horns, but the rumbling of those LONG freight trains carries right up terraced hill. Too bad, I won’t be staying here again!
