Promontory Park is located on FM 2318 just off of Route 16 in DeLeon Texas. It has clean and well lighted restroom/showers, and spacious sites.
There’s plenty of fishing and swimming. Hookup are 20/30/50 amp, water, and some FH sites. Pets allowed on leash. There is a dump station (no charge for campers).
We visited in the spring time and found beautiful flowers and plenty of wildlife. Rates are $16-$26. This park also offers screen shelters with electricity and ceiling fan for $22 a night. There are 2 discounts available: Senior Pass and Access Pass for disabled.
