This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Camp Verde RV Resort in August and September.

Camp Verde RV Resort is located in the very heart of the Arizona region, where pine forests, broad valleys, and scenic canyons abound. It is bordered by the Verde River, which feeds a lush greenbelt in this land of mountains, desert, and red-rock canyons. The climate is arid, the summer days often cooled by monsoons rains. Winters on the valley floor are mild.

We love this park with plenty of space, a laid back lifestyle and a fabulous swimming pool. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We have a Class A motorhome with a motorbike and plan on staying here at every opportunity. We are from Seattle.

  1. We are full time travelers and have stayed in many RV parks and campgrounds across the US… this is one of the worst!

The grounds are dirty and unkept. The laundry rooms have so much dirt in them, doubt they have been cleaned in some time. They advertise wi-fi which is taking computer to game room and offer no cable tv. For what they charge there is nothing here! The weeds (they call it grass) are all that is here and not mowed. We will never be back!

  2. We were visiting some friends in Arizona and came upon this campsite. I believe the name of the woman that was so rude is Jan. I had asked her about the amenities of the Park and she replied with such rudeness to each of our questions, I could feel her stare penetrating my whole self! I think it was her husband who mimicked her answers Aiden, Eldon or something like that, ranted in a loud holier than thou attitude. Needless to say, this would not be our choice of a RV park.

It is true of any business that the employees represent the company, and first, and in this case, the last impression we had when leaving the park, will always be a scene I will most certainly relay to others.
