Virginia City RV Park – Virginia City, MT

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (9 votes, average: 2.56 out of 5)

Virginia City RV Park is located .5 miles east of the rustic village of Virginia City. It’s situated well off the road and is therefore quiet. It’s owned and operated by a middle aged husband and wife team.

The campground is well-maintained and the restrooms and showers are clean. I have been staying here since the current owners bought it in 2004, for about a week around Memorial Day, and been very happy every year. For the history buffs, the area is rich in the gold mining years of the 1860’s.

The whole area is fun and interesting and the Virginia City RV Park added to my visit in a pleasing way.

  1. Hello Future RVer’s-
My name is Dan Ciani and I am part proprietor of the Virginia City RV Park. The RV Park is under new management this coming season.

I understand that in the past fellow RVers did not have a pleasant stay at the park. This is truly unfortunate because the town of Virginia City has much to offer its visitors, and the Virginia City RV Park provides a perfect place to stay while you explore the town.

I would like to start off by introducing the new owners: my parents, Deborah and Peter, my brother Mike, and I. We fell in love with Virginia City when my brother moved here over 4 years ago. We are family oriented and have been in the client service industry for 30 years with great success. We understand that the people who visit Virginia City want to explore the town, see the attractions and have a relaxing stay. Our goals and objectives are to provide a hospitable, clean and safe park for families that would like to stay in Virginia City.

The transition from negative past impressions to the positive experiences we want to offer will take some time. Our main goal this year is to address some of the issues that RVers have commented on in the past, such as providing clean and functional bathroom facilities and making site improvements, including planting trees, improving the grass, and building a central picnic gazebo area. These improvements, we hope, will provide visitors with a relaxing, safe, and memorable place to stay while visiting the area. So we hope you consider staying with us this RV season and look forward to meeting you.

Please feel free to have a look at our website,
