Stars and Stripes RV Resort -Ephrata, WA

Stars and Stripes RV Resort is a beautiful park with great customer service. The rv sites have 50/30/20amps with full hook-ups (water, sewer, electric). Their spacious back-in’s and pull-thru’s sites can accommodate 60ft plus with lots of trees for shade. Also has cabins, suite, and tent sites.

Amenities include heated pool, driving range, tennis/basketball/volleyball courts, indoor rec room, large banquet room, horseshoe pits, laundry, clean restrooms with hot water showers, convenience store. We used the banquet room for a dinner gathering during our stay, which was fun. All this is included in their rates, a deal to die for.

The park is always well-maintained, nicely trimmed green grass, clean restrooms, helpful & caring owners, long list of fun amenities, nice weather, and lovely park. We’re so happy to have found this place, perfect place to take a vacation and I’d recommend to all.

If you are looking for a long-term spot for your RV, do NOT choose this place. We had been looking for a year for a long term place, and we were very happy when we found out that they would accommodate us, even though we have an older RV. We gave a month’s notice to our current place, and changed our address on all of our correspondence and got ready to move. Now, 10 days until the end of the month, they message us and tell us that they canceled our reservation. No warning, no reason. They require 2 weeks notice if you cancel, but apparently they can cancel at any time. Now I only have 10 days to find something else, so we’ll be homeless for awhile. Don’t go here if you are looking for a place to stay for awhile. it’s quite stressful that they pulled this on us. At first, they were friendly and welcoming, and the place is clean, though it doesn’t look anywhere near as good as the pictures. They need serious maintenance, especially at the kids’ playground.. That swing set doesn’t look safe at all. When they canceled, they were not so friendly anymore, and I do not know what happened.

Marilyn Monroe who left a comment about Stars And Stripes RV Park must have stayed in another RV Park in Ephrata, WA. with the same name as the one we stayed in for two days on Sept. 13th. and Sept. 14th. 2010. It looked sort of run down to us and was not well kept up. It has the amenities that Marilyn mentioned but it is about 6 miles west of Ephrata and sort of isolated from everything else. It needs a lot of sprucing-up done and though the staff was friendly I got the feeling they haven’t been operating this RV Park very long. We got a “Good Sam” member discount for two nights in our motor home and the price was $46.16 which is about 23.08 including the tax. The price was not bad but sort of a boring RV park. It has a fairly nice outdoor swimming pool as well and the rec. room with a pool table (lacking a cue ball) with a small library, microwave, refrigerator and small electric range and sink. Laundromat is in separate area of same building with a door and windows between them and a separate entrance for rec. room and laundry room. The Oasis RV Park in Ephrata is a much cleaner and fresher atmosphere than Stars And Stripes RV Park and wish we had stayed at Oasis instead. The two RV Parks are only about 5 to 6 miles apart. We give Stars And Stripes RV Park about (2 stars) out of a possible 5 stars as it is somewhat less “eye friendly” and needs better care. It could (once again) be a nice place with some owner effort. The water is very high with alkali and smells like rotten eggs which is not unusual for desert water. I’m assuming they have well water (being outside of town) so suggest you bring your own water for drinking.
