Thunder Bay Golf Club and Resort – Hillman, MI

Thunder Bay Resort | RVBuddy.com

Thunder Bay Resort is a great stop for RV golf nuts! All rigs must be self contained but all sites have full hookups and WIFI. All sites are pull thru and you are a short walk to the club house and restaurant.

Thunder Bay Golf Club and Resort makes a great home base to play other courses in the region. The resort also has horse drawn carriage rides to view elk and enjoy a home cooked meal featuring Michigan wines. We had a great time playing golf and relaxing in this country setting.

I’ll be back and I recommend it to all RVers.

The Enota Mountain Retreat is highly recommended if you want a quiet atmosphere surrounded by National Forest.

It is nestled between mountains with numerous streams and waterfalls running right through the campground. There are cabins, RV sites (full hookups) and tent sites. There is a playground, fishing pond and an organic farm where fresh vegetables in season are available for purchase plus numerous farm animals for children to visit. Some meals are available on weekends.

The Lodge has a small store and native American jewelry and crafts for sale. This is a very conservation oriented park with a friendly and helpful staff. Numerous attractions are close by including Brasstown Bald Mountain (highest peak in Georgia), Georgia Mountain Fair, Alpine Helen and numerous natural scenic areas and hiking trails. It is a not-for-profit organization and there is no sales tax.

There are lots of activities for kids. Their outdoor playground has a jumping pillow, basketball and an indoor fitness center.

There are movie nights and activities for kids throughout the day. The facilities are awesome and very clean. There are also cabins to rent and tent sites as well as full hook up clean rv sites with picnic tables fire pits, free wifi and cable.

The owners are very helpful and do a great job of making sure everyone has a great time.

This is a great place to stay for both adults and children. You will love it!

Umatilla Marina RV Park – Umatilla, OR

Umatilla Marina RV Park is a beautiful campground in a beautiful location.

It’s a very small campground, there are 26 full hook-up gravel sites, with 12 pull-throughs and 9 tent sites.

The entire campground is clean and well maintained. The gravel sites are nice and level and overlook the Columbia River. Sites don’t have cable but there were several over-the-air tv stations we could pick up with our RV antenna. They also have wi-fi.

The campground is conveniently located just a fw minutes off Interstate 82, exit 1. It makes a great overnight stop.

We stayed here for a weekend in September. Prices were very reasonable… about $40 a night.

We would definitely stay here again.

Four Oaks RV Resort – Four Oaks, NC

Four Oaks RV Resort is great little campground and motel just off I-95 at exit 90 in Four Oaks, North Carolina. The owners live on the property and are very friendly.

We pulled in and they even walked out to our camper and said hello. We spent 2 nights here. They have free wi-fi and no, you do not have to go the office like many places. We got 5 bars in our rv!

It’s a great little campground, but call and make reservations as they seemed to be getting busy.

Perdido Cove RV Resort and Marina – Pensacola, FL

Perdidi Cove RV Park | RVBuddy.com

Perdido Cove RV Resort is a beautiful campground in Perdido Key Florida… a wonderful hidden get away. The park is clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and from making a reservation to checking-out was very smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay there.

There was so much to see and do in the area without driving out of our way. The park is on the intercoastal waterway and our site was a premium one that faced the water and the marina. Fishing was the best right from the marina.

They really have a gem of a rv park. We will be back with family and friends to follow. This would be a great snowbird destination.

Dunedin RV Resort – Dunedin, FL

Dunedin RV Resort | RVBuddy.com

Dunedin Campground is a highly rated facility… with some permanent in the back of the park. It’s located right on Alt. Route #19 just north of Curlew Road.

The campground has an excellent clubhouse, pool and other amenities. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There is free WiFi too. The campground is in a nice location… near beaches, shopping, restaurants and marinas. They also have scheduled activities during winter season.

Pro baseball, football and hockey are close by too. Tarpon Springs is seven miles away and downtown Dunedin is four miles, both quaint restored cities with many activities and shops.

We liked it and will return next year.

Camp Coldbrook RV Resort – Barre, MA

Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy

In my opinion Camp Coldbrook is HORRIBLE.

The campground is mostly seasonal sites with full-time living in unbelievable states of disrepair with unkempt sites. The roads were virtually impassable. The landscaping was unkempt, and the “kiddie” pool empty and dilapidated.

Campsites were occupied by all sorts of very old trailers in various states of disrepair, torn and broken awnings hanging loose, tents attached to campers using ropes and bungee cords, torn and filthy canvas and tarp “lean-to’s”, extremely old and broken sheds, miscellaneous abandoned vehicles, older and abandoned lawn equipment, and make-shift fencing for barking dogs.

This place should be shut down!! They took my entire 2-night stay ($127) with NO refund after we refused to stay after seeing what we saw. Their website is unbelievably misleading and deceitful. If I were you I would RUN away from this place!!

Deerpark/New York City NW KOA Holiday – Godeffroy, NY

Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy.com

In my opinion Deerpark KOA is the worst KOA we have ever stayed in.

Dirty, roads are awful… full of potholes that are more like craters. Not much to do in the area. The Playground is DANGEROUS! Old and rusted. The employees are all kids. No adults anywhere. No one wears a KOA shirt. No onsite camp workers.

There are gutter falling off the roof of the office, weeds everywhere and most of the park is closed and the cabins are old and not maintained. This place needs to be completely renovated.

The franchisee should lose their right to own this place. There is no ice on the premises. The bathrooms are locked or no hot water where they are open. I could only communicate by email. They do NOT return phone calls or answer the phone.

We were supposed to stay there an additional three weeks after staying for four weeks. We couldn’t do it! It’s just too depressing. There are other options in the area.

Off Grid B&B and RV Campground – Ash Fork , AZ

It’s a little tough to get to the RV park, but once you’re there, the grounds are exactly as advertised – remote, quiet and very peaceful.

The owner had to show us the way, but they’re very helpful once you’re there. They keep it very clean and make several security checks throughout the day. They offer free water, which you have to drive around to fill up your tanks for. We were full when we arrived, so we didn’t need any.

They don’t have any amenities like dump station or showers, but the town is nearby and I think it’s more geared toward skoolies and self-contained rigs. It’s completely raw land with bare spots to camp on. But I think that’s why they call it “Off Grid” RV campground. Not sure why they call it a B&B, but he said they have other properties, so maybe they have bungalows there.

The rates are extremely cheap, but that’s probably because it’s out of the way. Expect a bumpy road, but nice folks and a very restful stay.
