Coastal Georgia RV Resort – Brunswick, GA

Coastal Georgia RV Resort is located less than one mile west of I-95, exit 29, in Brunswick, Georgia. I think we’ve stumbled upon a gem here!

This is really a great campground! It looks brand new. We stayed here overnight on a recent trip south to Florida… we hated to leave. All the resort’s roads are all paved. They have 105 sites, all 35 feet wide, with lengths ranging from 60 to 70 feet. Most of the sites are pull-thrus with full hookups including 30 & 50 amp service, tables, fire rings and grills. Cable TV and WiFi are also available. They have a conference room, 2 bath houses, 2 laundromats, a boat dock, and a small store where you can find RV supplies as well as LP gas. The entire campground is handicap accessible. The property and facilities are very clean and well maintained!

Amenities also include a swimming pool, playground, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard courts, a game room, paddle boats (rental) and lake fishing. They did quite a bit of landscaping when they built this campground. In a few years, after everything has had a chance to grow it should look really nice!

Rates are a little high for the area, but not unreasonable for what you get… $40 a nite.

Nearby is the Atlantic Ocean, Jekyll Island, St. Simon and Sea Island… and of course Historic Downtown Brunswick. This is a great campground and one that we intend to use every time we travel thru the area.

  1. Stayed there for Thanksgiving week. It was awesome. There is a room with tables and full kitchen that we were allowed to use to feed 25 of my daughter’s classmates. There is also a wonderful outside pavilion with a fireplace. Great for big rigs, right off I95, grocery store and other shops close by. No complaints. At all. In fact on our way back to stay next week.

  2. What a find. Worthy of more than a one night stay. Facilities excellent, spotless in every way without being clinical. All drive throughs were easy, great pool and loved sitting round the fire pitt down by the small lake. The plus’s far out wieighed the noise of the nearby i95.. We will be back for a longer stay when back in USA.

  3. My wife, daughter and I give this resort a 5 star rating. The rate was more than resonable in fact it was hard to leave after the first day we stayed (we stayed 3 days). We’ve stayed at some resorts not as nice this one, dirt roads, dirty showers and paid more. I’m not sure where the person who thought the rates were high, he hasn’t traveled much. Check the prices at KOA campgrounds or any other’s, they are nice but not like Coastal Georgia RV Resort.
