Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy

Country Aire RV Park is an older campground but it’s clean and well maintained. It’s easy to get around the park with a big rig because the roads are quite wide. They have good size sites too.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to may our stay enjoyable. The campground is easy to get to… Country Aire is right off Interstate 15 in Cedar City. It makes a great overnight stop. There is a little highway noise, but it didn’t bother us that much.

There’s plenty to see and do in town and in the surrounding area including Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. We camped there in our new 36′ Class A last fall.

We stayed several days at Cedar Oaks RV Resort on our way back from a camping trip to Branson. This is a very nice park located right on Grand Lake of the Cherokees in northeastern Oklahoma.

There are a great selection of campsites right on the lakefront and we had one of them. There are also free boat slips available for RV’ers who have boats. The owners and staff were wonderful, the rates are reasonable, and there was plenty to see and do within a mile or two of the campground.

Grand Lake is a very scenic lake with some great fishing. If you like antiques be sure to visit Harber Village, located just a few miles from the campground.

We highly recommend Cedar Oaks RV Park and are planning on returning this summer.

We felt right at home at Palm Gardens. Ruth, the new manager, was so welcoming, and introduced us to some of the other residents, who we became fast friends with. All the  facilities were cleam and well maintained.

This is the way to snowbird… with a group of really nice people who know how to welcome newcomers.

We stayed at the Fayetteville (KOA) RV Resort for one night while we were traveling north from Florida. This campground is an easy on-off from I-95, exit 61 and a few miles north of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The staff was courteous and made us feel right at home. The campground is clean, well-maintained and quiet, with very little road noise. The sites are large, level gravel pads and the hookups are easy to access. Most sites are pull-thrus. The property is in a very peaceful setting with well mowed grass, towering shade trees and lovely flower beds. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are also included.

Amenities include two swimming pools with a nice covered, screened patio, a large enclosed pavilion, a pet playground (they are very pet friendly), volleyball, tetherball, basketball, horseshoe pits and walking trails. They also have 2 Full-Amenity Lodges, Cabin Rentals and 3 One-Room Rustic Cabins

Bar Harbor Campground | RVBuddy.com

This is a nice little campground less than 5 miles from I-95, exit 80, and located on a forested peninsula on the Bush River.

The staff and service were excellent. They were friendly and made us feel at home. The campground has paved roads and sites are comfortably large with concrete pads and fire rings. A good selection of the sites are right on the water and have beautiful water views.   The facilities were a little outdated but clean well maintained. Amenities included a pool, a well stocked grocery store and gift shop, and access to fishing from your campsite of pier. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Bar Harbor RV park is only about 30 minutes from Baltimore and there is lot’s to see and do in the immediate area. This is a great campground to relax (there are no planned activities) and spend a few days or a quick overnight if you’re traveling down I-95.

We camped here for two nights this past fall. The campground is located on the north shore of Lake Gaston, about 30 miles west of I-95 (North Carolina Exit 180) and  just 5 miles east of the I-85 exit #4. They are a family owned campground with family oriented services and activities.

The staff was friendly and helpful and escorted us to our site. Amenities include a swimming pool, mini-golf, playground, vollyball and basketball courts, and a pavilion.  Their have large, level full hook-up pull thrus and waterfront sites. Cabin rentals are also available. They also have live entertainment performing most weekends throughout the summer. The campground also has a well stocked convenience store in addition to RV supplies, accessories, and propane.

The majority of the sites in this campground appear to be permanent or seasonal residents as opposed to overnight or short stay campers. This park has a beautiful lake. We would probably stay here again while traveling but not for a long term stay.

We recently stayed at Mosquito Lagoon RV Park for several days and thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The management was very friendly and made us feel quite welcomed and comfortable.

The campground is located about 12 miles from I-95 (exit 244) or 9 miles from I-95 (exit 231). The location is absolutely beautiful, it’s right on the water with great views and spectacular sunrises. There are even dolphins playing in the channel right next to your campsite.

The campground is small (about 40 sites). Sites are gravel and a comfortable size. They have pull-thrus with full hook ups, 50 amp service, WI-FI, and cable hook ups. The facilities are clean and well maintained. One nice perk is that they have  free use of kayaks with life vests and paddles included. You can get a great view of the lagoon in a kayak. Amenities also include a playground, a Tiki deck and a boar ramp.

This is a nice, slow paced break from traveling I-95. It’s a beautiful location to unwind. We loved it!

Indian Waters RV Resort is located a short distance from I-10 in Indio, California. When we first arrived we were greeted at the main gate with instruction to get to the main office. The office staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. They had a great attitude.

The resort has 274 sites that are 50 amp and full hook-up, The campground has two distinct landscaping themes for its concrete level sites: grass and desertscape. All sites have views of the mountains or nearby ponds, towering eucalyptus tress, or gardens.  The typical RV site is approximately 35′ wide and 60′ deep with several super sized sites for the biggest of rigs. The park and facilities are nicely landscaped, clean and well maintained.

They have a wonderful clubhouse with a full kitchen and plenty of room for special functions, a fitness center, a lounge with fireplace and computer center, a billiard room, and two pools. In 2011, new ownership totally renovated the property and added the second pool, lighted pickleball courts, a natural putting green, 50 amp service to all sites, city sewer service to all sites, and enhanced  Wi-Fi. They also have a social director and an impressive schedule of events. There is lots to do in the area too, including five casinos, golf and tennis, local fairs, and music festivals. This park definitely makes you feel like you are in a luxury Resort.  We plan on returning next year!

Lazydays RV Park - Tucson, AZ | RVBuddy.com

Lazydays is one of the nicest and most reasonably priced campgrounds we have stayed at in a long time.

Campsites are easy to get into, level and each has a picnic table and chairs. What’s really neat is that there are orange, grapefruit and lemon trees on many of the sites. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Security is great too! They have a gate guard and you are escorted right to your site. The campground is very quiet at night.

Amenities include two swimming pools, two spas, exercise room, laundry, and a huge air-conditioned convention center. Also bocce ball, a putting green, horseshoes and other games. It’s pet friendly here too! They have a large dog park. They also have a nice, well stocked campstore and an on-site restaurant with reasonably priced meals. They have free wi-fi too!

The staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. We would definitely recommend Lazydays RV Campground to our friends.

Hill Country RV Resort is an older campground but very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The campground has two indoor heated pools and hot tubs, a sauna, and a fitness room. There are also three laundry facilities and two large recreational halls. The kids loved the game room… equipped with Wii, Xbox, Play Station 3, ping pong, air hocky, foosball and a shuffleboard table. An outdoor playground included a jumping pillow and Aero Ball.

All RV sites are full hook-up, including free WiFi and cable TV. Easy, level pull-thrus for big rigs too. They also have fully furnished cottages and cabins that include a kitchen, linens and cooking utensils.

It was a nice place but there was noise from interstate 35 and a nearby railroad. Despite that, we weren’t very annoyed and overall had a good experience. We would stay here again.
