We stayed Walkabout Camp and RV Park on our way south to Florida this past spring. This is a nice little park with great owners. It’s not a destination park, but great for a short stay to explore the area or an overnight stopover when traveling I-95.

The campground is conveniently located at Exit 7 on I-95 between the city of Woodbine and Kingsland Georgia. 70 Full Hook Up. 30 and 50 amp sites… and all sites are pull thru!

Their amenities include a pavilion, pool, a clubhouse, laundry facilities, clean bathrooms, a dog park run, nature trails, a pickleball court and basketball court.

Their location is close to Historical St Marys, Amelia Island, Woodbine Opry, Cumberland Island, Okefenokee National Park Wildlife Refuge, Fernandina Beach, Submarine Museum, Jacksonville Zoo and more.

We will definately stop here again.

This is our second trip here. Great people and a nice little park. Again, not a destination park, but great for a short stay to look around the area or to rest on a trip.

  1. We stayed here for 7 days on our way to Florida. We made reservations a few days before our arrival. We had some problems on our way there which put us back two days, the owners where so understanding about our situation and did not charge for the two missed nights which we feel they could have since we had already made reservations. This was our first time here but they made you feel like you have been coming there forever. A small area but kept up nice. Will definitely stay here again. Thank You Troy and Suze
