Kamp Klamath, a campground located in the Redwoods State Park was definitely a place for every campground lovers to add to their list of places to go.
Beautiful location, awesome and very friendly people who owns and works there, we felt very welcome to be there. Hot and clean showers and bathrooms, scenic view of nature.
We were there in February, we only stayed for a night because we wanted to enjoy the trails very close to this area, but the campground is close to a beautiful overlook of the Klamath mouth river and the ocean as well, also a nice trail called coastal trail if you like mountain biking.
Kamp Klamath is also close to Crescent City and Jedediah Smith State park and Prairie Creek State Park. Lots Lots of fun and a great time ! We didn’t get to try their famous Saturday night fresh smoked salmon on the bbq and live music, but we will definitely come back to enjoy this place again and have nice, true talks with the family who owns it.
Loved it… BRAVO!
Breathtaking views and large sites. Very clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Access to the Klamath river. Two fishing guides and excellent salmon fishing Great coffee and pizza. The double espresso is awesome. Drip coffee is complementary. Discounts for Escapees, AAA, and Good Sam. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful
