Beatty RV Park is located just north of the mining town of Beatty, Nevada, and about two hours north of Las Vegas. Beatty is 6 miles from the north enterance of the Death Valley Park, also 20 minutes north of the Armogosa Sand Dunes. The park had the feeling of old Nevada.

The Beatty RV park has large pull-thru sites as well as 50 amp service. We found the on site staff to be friendly and informative. The bathroom are clean and adequate. Also on site is a large recreation room. The Wi-fi service was included in the nightly rate and connected instantly.

The park property backs up to BLM (Federal Government Bureau of Land Management) land for those wishing to go rock hounding or mountain biking.

We would recommend the park to those traveling US-95 thru Beatty Nevada.

  1. I stayed at the Beatty RV Park for two months a few years ago. I camped in a tent, and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The manager and staff of the campground were outstanding – friendly, helpful, very accommodating, and made you feel right at home. My tent site was very nice, and I had use of the recreation room, which included televisions, pool table, use of a small refrigerator, microwave, with plenty of places to sit and relax and get out of the heat.

The bathrooms were clean and well kept. They also had free high speed Wifi internet access which worked very well as I use my computer and internet quite a bit.

The campground is conveniently located 3 miles north of the town of Beatty, and I found this really nice as you did not have the noise of the town to deal with. It was nice and peaceful in this park, with park decor that blended in with the surrounding desert.

What impressed me most was the dedication of the manager and staff to make your stay a pleasant experience. They were right there if you needed assistance, and offered lots of information about the area and places of interest. I highly recommend this campground, and plan to stay there again when I am going through that area of Nevada.

  2. We were very impressed with the staff who met us as we entered the park. The large pull-thru site allowed us to be ready to go in in no time. Don’t miss the ghost town just west of Beatty and on the way to Death Valley. This is a great find on US-95 for the RV crowd on the move!

  3. Management is very friendly-rates good. It is all gravel w/pull-through sites. It has WOW bathrooms with huge marble showers; they are all-in-one rooms (shower, toilet and sink). Pretty impressive. And it has a good wifi connection at no charge. It’s along the highway, so some road noise, but the distant “honking” of the wild burros was so neat it didn’t matter. We’ll definately stay there again!
