The Farm RV Resort – London, KY

The Farm RV Resort | RVBuddy.com

We just wrapped up a weekend at The FarmRV Resort in London, Kentucky and already can’t wait to come back. The campground is clean, quiet, and beautifully laid out with plenty of space between sites.

The kids loved the playground and catch and release pond, and we enjoyed how easy the online check-in and reservation process was. The staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway where the little things are thoughtfully done, this is the place. Highly recommend! We paid $89/Night for a pull through site but it was worth every single penny!

Camp Pedro RV Park – Dillon, SC

Camp Pedro RV Park | RVBuddy.com

If you’re an I-95 traveler, no doubt you’ve heard of, or more likely stopped at South of the Border. Well, Camp Pedro is part of the South of the Border complex, making it a popular choice for travelers heading up and down the East Coast. It’s one of those no-frills campgrounds that serves its purpose well as an overnight spot when you need to break up a long drive. The park offers full hookups for RVs, and while it’s not going to win any awards for scenic beauty, it gets the job done with clean facilities and easy access.

The staff here are generally friendly and check-in is straightforward, which is exactly what you want when you’re rolling in after a long day on the road. The sites are a bit close together, so don’t expect a lot of privacy, but they’re level and accommodate big rigs without much trouble. There’s not a whole lot in terms of amenities or activities – this is really more of a parking lot with hookups than a destination campground.

Overall, Camp Pedro is perfectly adequate for what it is: a reliable overnight stop on I-95. The price is reasonable, especially considering the convenience factor and the decent Wi-Fi (though it can be spotty depending on where you’re parked). If you’re looking for a place to rest your head while traveling through South Carolina, it’ll do just fine. Just don’t plan on staying for a week-long vacation unless you really love being near the interstate.

Mohican Adventures – Loudonville, OH

Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy.com

The three nights we spent at Mohican Adventures were the least restful nights of our 30 years of camping. The quiet hours were not enforced.

The section we were in was a big, all night party being held by a group of four separate campers that arrived together. Loud music, karaoke, and loud drunken conversations with excessive swearing. After the first night the staff was sympathetic and assured me their overnight security would intervene if there were more after hours activities. That security never appeared. The partying continued. We were not the only family that had issues with this group.

As for activities, Mohican Adventures had lots of fun stuff. Indoor pool for the rainy days with go-carts and fishing for the good weather. Plus, the park was extremely clean and well maintained.

If you want a restful night’s sleep, go to a different campground. If you want fun activities during the day there is plenty to do both at Mohican Adventures and the Loudonville Area.

Tellico Plains KOA – Tellico, TN

Tellico Plains KOA | RVBuddy.com

If you want an easy basecamp for exploring the Cherohala Skyway and Cherokee National Forest, the Tellico Plains KOA is a good choice. It’s a tidy, small-ish park with a friendly, low-key vibe—more “mountain gateway” than resort. Sites are generally level and well-kept, with the typical KOA setup (picnic table, fire ring), and the bathhouse and laundry were clean during my stay. Wi?Fi was fine for basics; I wouldn’t count on heavy streaming.

You’re just a few minutes from Tellico Plains and right on the road to Bald River Falls, Indian Boundary, and a bunch of trailheads and trout water on the Tellico River. It’s a popular stop for motorcyclists running the Cherohala and, a bit farther out, the Tail of the Dragon, so weekends can bring some bike traffic. The tradeoff for convenience is that sites aren’t super private, and you may catch a little road noise, but interior roads are easy to navigate and most rigs will be comfortable.

Overall, it’s great for travelers who want clean amenities, helpful hosts, and a hassle-free base near the forest. Families and touring riders seemed equally at home. If you’re after deep-woods solitude, a nearby Forest Service campground might suit you better; if you want hot showers, a small camp store, and reliable hookups at the edge of big scenery, this KOA hits the sweet spot—just expect KOA-level pricing.

I stayed at Suncoast RV Resort and it was absolutely wonderful. I felt I needed to write this review due to the review that was written in 2017.

This park is beautiful, it has a state of the art clubhouse that was built complete with private showers, bathrooms, and laundry facility. It has a beautiful and inviting pool and a pavilion. Beautifully landscaped and the lots are very accommodating.

Anyone who is looking for a very comfortable, safe and totally enjoyable park I suggest you book your next stay at Suncoast. I would recommend that this site update their pictures of Suncoast RV Resort.

Shady Creek RV Park | RVBuddy.com

My husband and I stayed at Shady Creek RV Park for 10 wonderful days.

The park is clean, quiet, well run, and the management very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms, laundry room, exercise room, and commons area were always clean and well kept.

Park residents seemed very friendly and we left with several new friendships. It is located near a gas station and not far from several cities with all the regular stores. We also loved the back roads near by for motorcycling.

We highly recommend Shady Creek RV Park and definitely plan to return next winter!

Jones Farm RV Park – Union Grove, AL

Jones Farm RV Park | RVBuddy.com

Jones Farm RV Park is truly a hidden gem. Situated in the country, yet an easy drive to Huntsville, it is the quietest, most relaxing location we have ever stayed in.

With only four sites surrounded by rolling pastures and well-manicured landscape you feel like you are at home. The sites have full hook-ups, and are well maintained with a thick base layer that keeps everything mud free. And the best part is that they are very large lots, the amount of space and privacy is something you rarely come across. The owners are attentive and have created a cozy oasis in the country that is one of a kind.

There are all kinds of amenities, nature trails, wildlife, etc. Check out their website for more details.
