Harris Beach is a beautiful State Park with a camping area located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean!
The sites are well shaded in a forest of stately mature pines. Sites are large but have water/electric hook-up only, though they do have a dump station. A limited number of sites have a view of the ocean. The property and facilities are neat, clean and well maintained.
You can walk to the beach by either a dirt trail, or by paved road. The scenery of the cliffs and beach is spectacular, and rock formations protrude out of the ocean. Sunsets are spectacular as well and every night it became a group event. Many campers would walk down to an observation area and watched the beautiful show.
Great place to stay when you want to just get away for some peace and quiet.
There are a limited number of full hookups including cable TV.
