Royal Palms RV Resort is approximately 1 year old and with a ton of amenities.

It’s a beautiful gated community with a swimming pool, activity room, laundry, fishing pond, walking trail, showers, free Wi Fi, pet friendly, big rig capable, and concrete pads/ roadways.

The facility is well maintained and the park’s staff are friendly. All campsites are back-in sites and most of them do not have shade.

The park is located approximately 20 north of Houston near Tomball.

So-Hi Campground – Accord, NY

So -Hi Campground was a pleasant surprise after reading the negative reviews of the past.

It was immediately obvious when we arrived that the owners have made a consorted effort to rectify all of the problems that plagued the campground from the past neglect. I was particularly impressed by the size of the campsites and how well the grounds were maintained.

The campground shows all the signs of having been updated and I could see changes being made to further improve the facility while we were there. My impression was that this campground will become very popular.

I only hope that this little known jewel does not get discovered by everyone else and I end up not being able to get a site in the future!

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort – Hilton Head, SC

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort - Hilton Head, SC | RVBuddy.com

What a wonderful experience for Hilton Head Camping. We travel with our two children 9 and 7 and our Cavachon dog. My husband’s brother and family also camped in their motor home. It was very easy to get sites together. We were able to go around on the golf cart and pick our site beforehand. We have visited the Island for several years, but must say this was our best trip yet.

We have never camped with our RV in Hilton Head. The facilities are superb. The shower house had just been remolded and is beautiful. The Clubhouse is so nice and very cozy common area. Laundry facilities we very nice and kept very clean. The pool, tennis courts, and hot tub are all very nice and well maintained as well. The Manager and his wife Gail are so welcoming and helpful. Everyone staying there were very nice.

The sites are very nice. Our favorite area is the clubhouse sites since we could then easily walk to the pool, tennis, and laundry facilities. Our kids loved playing on the new playground equipment and riding their bikes around the roads. Check-in and check-out were very easy. It is nice to be in a gated facility too as we didn’t worry as much with our kids going off for a bike ride without us. They have a produce market on Saturday morning with fresh local fruit and veggies and local caught fish and seafood.

We are already talking about when we will return. Wonderful place, people and location.

Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy

We stayed at Lakemont Ridge Home and RV Park for a week while visiting family in the area. All of the facilities were neat and clean and were obviously well-maintained.

The pool was a refreshing retreat for some exercising and cooling off after a long, hot day. Our space was large and level, with a clean concrete patio and full hook-ups (50-amp). There was plenty of space between our site and my neighbor.

Everyone we met was friendly and happy. We had such a nice time here that we are considering spending a few months here this winter. I recommend this park.

Carrollwoods RV Campground at Grapefull Sisters Vineyard – Tabor City, NC

I found Carrollwoods RV Campground to one of the nicer RV Parks I’ve been to.

The campground is clean and nicely layed out. The shower and bathroom are very clean. The management is very friendly and helpful. This is not a resort, its a real campground… no manacured lawns, and no paved roads… but well maintained. The whole property is level you won’t need your leveling blocks. Campsites have fire rings three-way hookup.

The nights are extremely quite. If it was closer to me I would go more often. If you like camping I think you’ll like this one.

Dark Sky RV Campground – Kanab, UT

Dark Sky RV Campground | RVBuddy.com

Dark Sky RV Campground is just three miles from the center of Kanab, 18 premiere, pull-through RV sites and private tent and van campsites sit on 40 acres of untouched sagebrush, each with unobstructed views of the Red Cliffs, Vermillion Cliffs, and the Kaibab Plateau, with epic sunrises and sunsets, and the darkest skies in Southern Utah.

The campground is as close to boon docking as you can get, but with full hookups, one of our recent campers commented. We offer 75′ apart from each RV spot so you feel like you are alone in your own piece of Southern Utah. We have two private spa-like bath suites that feature an indoor and outdoor shower option, heated flooring, dimmable lighting, modern tiling, and amenities like shampoo and body wash, makeup mirror and the ability to adjust to your ideal room temperature.

We also have an open pavilion, a wonderful gathering place for friends and family, or to just take a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon as the sunsets to relax after your adventures.

The kids can enjoy a dig pit, where they can discover dinosaur treasures and bones, and parents can sit under the shade sail and watch their kiddos play.

Dogs have their own slice of paradise, at the dog park which is naturally landscaped and features a shade sale, bench, doggie bags and views! We also have a dog washing station!

Campers can enjoy their own private campsite surrounded by the privacy that the sage brush offers. There’s a communal campfire, water available and a charging station for devices. Campers can also benefit from the dishwashing station.

Laundry is onsite, as well. And future plans include a watering hole, coffee bar and camp store!

This truly is a new way to RV.

Simply said, you’ll enjoy your stay at Camp’n Aire RV Resort Park, if you can get in early.

We booked for the winter season during September 2019 and there were only two sites left. Almost all of the residents we met had been coming to this place for years and we found out why.

Amenities include a  large heated pool, 2 Laundromats with gas dryers, restrooms with private showers, concrete patios, a landscaped common areas for seating while walking, with paved, lighted streets, picnic tables, 50/30/20 amp sites and phone and modem friendly hookups.

They also have a mail service, propane sales (they pick-up and deliver), a dump station, and free WI-FI High speed through out park. Their rec hall has a huge TV, and there are lots of activities.

Everyone there is friendly, it’s like family, time all the time during your stay.

Sanger/Denton North KOA – Sanger, TX

Sanger/Denton KOA | RVBuddy.com

This was our very first campground experience as a full time RV family.

The Sanger/Denton North KOA does have level paved sites, but we stayed towards the back of the park on one of the slightly slanty gravel lots.

The park was clean and fairly well maintained, except for a clogged shower on the Women’s side that overflowed into the rest of the room & soaked our dry clothes. They also have a McClain’s RV dealership & Service Center on site, which comes in handy when you have repairs to do like we did.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. We would definitely recommend it for an overnight or short extended stay.
