We stayed at Turkey Creek Campground on October 16 and 17… on site 28/29. The charge was $62 per night.

The campsites are gravel and grass. We needed to level… not extreme but enough especially side to side. Other sites don’t look real level either. The bathrooms and shower was very nice and clean but could be a longish walk from the farthest sites. They have nice laundry facilities but there is only 1 washer $1.25 1 dryer $1.00. ATT signal was 1-2 bars. There are several over-the-air TV stations. The wifi but slow and sets limits if used too much.

The campground is very rustic… I’d even say underdeveloped. Spacing between sites is ok but some are not private (people would walk close by on the way to the bathroom). Most sites have shade. The interior roads are gravel and narrow. We are in a truck camper. I would not have wanted to bring a pull behind or 5th wheel down here. There were mostly tents, popups and class C at this campground. There is a creek running behind… very slow and shallow but nice none the less. Barely above a trickle.

Very nice owner too. We didn’t notice highway noise. Nice walk to a lake, and they recycle!
