Pelican's Landing Resort | RVBuddy.com

Pelican’s Landing is a great little RV park located about 7 miles from I-95, exit 156.

The RV sites are comfortably large complete with picnic tables and grills. The grounds and facilities are very well maintained and the views from the waterfront sites are beautiful. It’s very quiet here… a great place to sit back and relax. Amenities include a boat ramp, docks, a fishing pier, a boathouse lounge, clubhouse, shuffleboard, a picnic area and a laundry room.

Pelican’s Landing is also pet-friendly!

The staff was friendly and helpful and the service was outstanding. There’s is plenty to see and do nearby too!

I would not hesitate to recommend Pelican’s Landing to my friends.

Ledgeview RV Park – Lake George, NY

Ledgeview RV Park | RVBuddy.com

Our family has camped at Ledgeview RV Park many times over the past 20 years and have always been more than happy with our stay. It’s one of the most well maintained campgrounds we know of.

Ledgeview RV Park is located a few miles south of Lake George, on NY Route 149. The first thing you notice about the park when you enter is how clean and impeccably maintained everything is. The gated entrance is wide with plenty of room for even the largest rigs to park and check in. The entire property is tastefully landscaped. The staff is friendly and helpful and check in has always been quick and easy.

Interior roads are paved, relatively wide and I believe that just about every site is easy to get into. The park is located in fairly dense white pine forest and most of the sites are shaded. There are over 200 level, comfortably large gravel sites, about 160 of which are full-hookup (30 amps), including a generous CATV lineup.

Restrooms and showers are very well maintained. The campstore is small, with a limited selection of groceries and RV supplies including firewood. Other amenities include a large pool, rec hall, small game room. playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and rec field.

While the park has amenities to keep the kids happy, they may get bored after a day or two… the pace here is noticeably laid back. Summer nights here include quiet conversation around a campfire or a casual stroll around the park. Of the many times we’ve stayed here we’ve yet to see a rowdy party or screaming kids running amok through the park.

One of Ledgeview’s greatest attractions is it’s proximity to New York’s Adirondack Mountains and the Lake George area. There is so much to see and do just a few miles away… steamboat cruises on beautiful Lake George, Six Flags Great Escape Theme Park, outlet shopping, golfing, hiking, bicycling and more. You can easily spend a week here and just scratch the surface.

We’ve stayed at quite a few campgrounds all over the country in the past 25 years, and Ledgeview RV Park is easily one of our top 10!

Le Sage Riviera RV Park – Grover Beach, CA

Le Sage Riviera RV Park | RVBuddy.com

Le Sage Riviera RV Park is a small campground with a great location… it’s located within a block of the beach! We loved going for an evening stroll to watch the sun set over the water. And along the dunes, there’s a wonderful boardwalk!

Our site was a large, level, sandy/gravel pull-through with full hook-ups. Their site amenities include 30 or 50-amp electric service, space for multiple slide-outs, and are “Satellite-dish friendly”

Campground amenities include paved interior roads, free WiFi, an on-site laundry, private restrooms and showers, and nice landscaping. The bathrooms and (separate) showers were clean and neat.

LeSage Rivera is also within walking distance to golf course and restaurants. It’s also a short drive to the many area attractions.

The office staff were welcoming and helpful and the managers are on-site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely come back here again!

Columbia Sun RV Resort – Kennewick, WA

Columbia Sun RV Resort | RVBuddy.com

We stayed at Columbia Sun RV Resort in Kennewick, Washington last fall and loved every minute! I can’t tell you how pleased we were with our entire vacation here.

It is a beautiful resort with 145 sites covering 25 acres, 87 of which are pull-thrus. Most of the sites are over 70′ long with several over 100′. There is lots of grass and first class amenities, including private showers and bathrooms at both ends of the park and each having laundry facilities and one a game room and the other an exercise room with first class equipment. Also, there is a 3000 sq. ft. event center with multi-media facilities and a warming kitchen. The WiFi is awesome.

Check their schedule for karaoke, ice cream socials, pancake breakfast, holiday celebrations, wine tasting/pair and share, and bingo nights.

Columbia Sun RV Resort is also family owned and operated.

We would highly recommend this park to anyone passing through the area.

Branson Stagecoach RV Park – Branson, MO

Branson Stagecoach Campground | RVBuddy.com

Branson Stagecoach RV Park is easy to get into and easy to find. We spent a long weekend here last fall.

There are 57 sites, plus 3 overflow sites. They have both concrete and gravel sites, both pull-thru and back in… and they are the biggest lots I have seen in any RV park. All regular sites have full hookups that include 30 or 50 amp electric, water, sewer and cable tv. Wi-fi is free and we got a strong signal from our site.

The campground does have a very nice pool and hot tub too! Amenities also include a playground, and a 24/7 clubhouse with a kitchen. One great plus is that they have a onsite restaurant, “The Hungry Hunter”… a nice amenity when you just don’t feel like getting in the car and heading into town.

It’s near scenic Table Rock Lake and only a few minutes away from the Branson attractions.

It’s simply a great place to stay if you are exploring the Branson area. This is a very nice RV park and I will stay here again.

Cherrystone Family Camping Resort – Cape Charles, VA

Our stay with Cherrystone Resort last summer was a very pleasant one. From the moment we arrived until the time we could no longer see the campgrounds in our rear view mirror. Our mini vacation to the resort left us wanting more!

On the day we arrived, that night, a storm blew in and tents looked like they were being flattened by the wind, but they weren’t. The storm left us with a “cool” wind for the remainder of the night and the next day was magnificent! The sun was shining and the air was gentle. You could enjoy outside immensely! Our kids wanted to stay within the park and explore. It was our first trip here, so why not! We were so excited and couldn’t wait to enjoy the atmosphere. Our teenage boys did not complain one time during our stay (unusual) but thankful!

There was so much to do and see around the resort. Fishing, crabbing, swimming, walking and relaxing! The next day we went to a nearby State Park and spent the day at the bayside beach. When we got back to the campground we fired up the bar-b-q, had dinner and off we went to conquer bingo … all the kids went. We were with 2 other families, so our group was rather large. We had 13 in attendance. 8 of the 13 played and 6 of the 8 won – we dominated that night and we walked away with $ 289.00 of the $500 pot! Needless to say we all agreed to throw our winnings together and splurged on Seafood Buffet the next night.

The next day we ended up in Virginia Beach for the day since you’re only 30 – 40 minutes from it … how convenient! We spent the day at the beach, catchin sun rays, playing in the sand and relaxing. We had our seafood buffet dinner and went back to the campgrounds to join in the fun — it was Kaoroke night! We listened to some singing, danced and laughed! We had a great time! We watched fireworks the next evening and listed to the live entertainment.

The campgrounds were cleaned, the restrooms were cleaned as promised and then some. The workers were attentive and they even patrolled in the night to be sure everyone was okay. We didn’t worry about our things and we had a fantastic time! We can’t wait til next year. This time we’re staying longer! Thank you Cherrystone Family Camping Staff and Management! You made our trip feel like we were welcome and felt at “home” … see you next year!

Alamo River RV Ranch Resort – Von Ormy, TX

Alamo River RV Resort | RVBuddy.com

The regular name for this park is Alamo River RV Ranch Resort but everybody just calls it Alamo River.

We stayed there for 9 days in Aug 2019 and while the weather was hot the river bottom was always in the shade and cool. We were in the cabin but have an RV which we will return in next year.

New, clean, clean, clean is the best description I can give you. We didn’t have our dogs but they would have loved the dog park where they can run free.

The showers and laundry facility is great and kept clean, I did mention it was clean?  I have never been in a park where the bath house was this clean. Can you guess I am a clean freak?

The fishing was not as great as we would have liked but there is a dry spell going on so maybe we just didn’t try hard enough. LOL.

I give it a 5 star +++

Coastline RV Resort & Campground – Eastpoint, FL

Coastline RV Resort | RVBuddy.com

We love Coastline RV Resort and Campground! Its located in a small town in Florida called Eastpoint. Its 7 minutes away from St.George Island and 10 minutes away from Apalachicola.

We made reservations this past October to stay with them during the Seafood Festival Weekend and they gave us personal packets made for us telling us that they hoped we enjoyed our stay and what the best things to do at the Festival were. I loved how friendly the person who helped us with our reservations was. I had the pleasure in meeting most of the workers there. They were all very kind and helped us in every way possible.

The sites are very spacious and you have plenty of room. Each site has brick paver patios, grill and umbrellas. We stayed in a pull through site on the 2nd tier and we couldn’t have asked for a better view! The clubhouse, bathrooms and pool are over the top!

Their amenities include a recreation building, bath house, a gift shop, a swimming pool, laundry facilities… and “Pesky Pelican Grille”, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, just steps away from your site.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here! We will be back again!

Daingerfield State Park – Daingerfield, TX

This is a small state park but very nice. The property is very scenic, and the campsites are secluded.

The park has a large fishing dock and RV campsites. They also have a tenting area that is separate from RV sites. The campground also offers hiking trails, a swimming beach and a small store for boat rentals, nature-oriented gifts, toys and books, souvenirs, snacks and fishing and camping supplies.

There are really a lot of things to do outdoors at the park… from hiking (a 2.4-mile easy hike around the lake. Work a little harder on the 1.2-mile Mountain View Trail, which takes you to the highest point in the park), fishing (crappie, bass, catfish, perch or chain pickerel), and boating (Rent a boat or bring your own, they have paddle boats, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks (single and tandem) and flat-bottom boats. Life jackets and paddles are included.)

This is a very clean park and only a short ride from Jefferson where you can enjoy a ride down the river or ride a steam engine. The pre-Civil War town of Jefferson is 30 miles southeast of the park.

Mountain View RV Park – Arco, ID

What a wonderful place! We stayed here while exploring the area and visiting Craters of the Moon National Monument this past fall.

The sites are all level, clean, gravel and very large, with nice big grassy areas between sites. RV sites had full hook-ups, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and good southern views (for satellite TV). They also have a separate tenting area with nice level grass and water.

All the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The bathrooms were immaculately clean (was my Mom just here?) and had totally private shower (free) rooms with a dressing area, seat, and hooks.

They also have a surprisingly substantial number of amenities for a relatively small campground… including a mini golf course, evening movies, on-site restaurant (with an amazing menu that includes smoked ribs, seafood, Italian and burgers… even craft beers)

Need anything? Just ask… the owners are really nice, very friendly folks who are a lot of fun. They even have a mechanic on-site to fix your RV.

We had a great stay… and will definitely be back to visit again!
