This is a very family oriented campground. Everyone here is very friendly. I enjoy walking on the beach. There is also a game room, basketball court, playground, and rec hall. Youngsters can play dress up, watch tv, read a book, etc.
There are all sorts of activities pot luck suppers, dances, bonfires, etc.. Looking for something to do there are flea markets just up the road. Many area restaurants, ice cream shops, stores, etc.. Or go back into Belfast to the Park.
Myself I would prefer to stay at the campground and relax. Watch the oil tankers come in. Catch a glimpse of the seals. And meet other people. If you have the opportunity stop in you won’t regret it.

Hermit Island Campground is the best place for people who are looking to camp right on the ocean. There are plenty of campsites, which are set in the dunes by the beaches, on the buffs with ocean views, or in the peaceful forest.
This is a small, but cute RV park located along US Highway 101. Although there is a barrier fence, you will hear some road noise during the quiet hours of the late evening. The road noise doesn’t bother me, but may be an issue for someone else.
This KOA was a great overnight stop while traveling through the area! It’s located right off Interstate 79, exit 67 in Sutton, West Virginia. For the price, it’s one of the best campground values in the area.
This campground is made for families! Our annual summer trip to Maine often includes camping at Bayley’s Resort.
This is a lovely campground! The facilities are clean and the property is well maintained. We camped here in our brand new fifth-wheel last weekend.
We just spent the last few days at Two Rivers RV Resort, a new campground located along the banks of the French Broad River in Sevierville, Tennessee.
