East View RV Ranch – Georgetown, TX

I found a great RV park and resort to stay at! East View RV Ranch offers clean, quiet and secure country living in the Austin area of Central Texas.

The sites here are level and well maintained. They have very nice granite roads. There is strong, fast and secure wifi throughout park. Resort amenities I enjoyed included a big screen TV, exercise equipment, laundromat, kitchen and clean bathroom with shower.

This place is obviously designed for the Rv’er in mind as it’s both big rig and pet friendly. The location is convenient to anything I needed.

I really like this place as my home base. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Texas!

Cypress Bayou Casino RV Park – Charenton, LA

Cypress Bayou Casino RV Park was a great stop for a few days.

They have good full hook-ups, although there are no bath or showers… which is ok. There is a casino shuttle service for several restaurants too.

Super friendly people here and in the area. Most are home grown. The Steak house was excellent as was the Yellow Basket nearby.

This is a nice area to explore before a stop in New Orleans.

Halesford Harbour RV Park – Moneta, VA

Halesford Harbour is pretty cool. My husband and I took a little trip to Smith Mountain Lake to check this place out.

We found the motel to be clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has a really nice Jambalaya and Mahi-Mahi. I think its probably one of the best on the lake. The RV park was not completed yet but I believe they are taking reservations for the June opening. It’s really nice and there is lots of space for the kids to run around, go fishing, and boating.

I think it is the best Smith Mountain Lake RV park but that is just my opinion. If you love Smith Mountain Lake and the surrounding areas you will love Halesford Harbour.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park – Emporia, VA

Yogi’s Jellystone Park in Emporia is a great campground!

They have nice clean bathrooms and showers and the nicest folks you will find anywhere. They were very accommodating and helpful when we ran into some mechanical issues with our new coach. They are right off I-95 making it an easy on easy off stop over.

I look forward to going back to spend more time at this great park!

Elite Resorts at Crystal River – Crystal River, FL

This RV Park was great. The lots at at this campground were very large and the park was well maintained. Elite Resorts is located close to Crystal River Florida in Citrus County – which has a lot of fun family activities. My kids loved swimming with manatees and the towns in the area are very cute.

The park has all the amenities you need plus more – a great pool (screened in!), a new lodge, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and everything else you can imagine. The park is very natural and pretty – full of trees and shade.

This was a great family vacation and we are all looking forward to returning next year.

Whispering Oaks Campground – Baldwin, MI

Last summer we just happened to drive by Whispering Oaks Campground and decided to stay. The campground is smaller but very well kept and clean.

The interior roads are nice gravel. The property has lots of flowers all over and the grass is kept nice and clean. They have a store, laundry, playground area etc. (they don’t have a pool) and it was all very well maintained. But the biggest surprise were the restrooms… they were super clean! Really, and all the time, we stayed for a week and everyday they were cleaned and nice.

The campsites are good sized and level and have water and electric. The nearby town of Baldwin doesn’t have much to do but there is great fishing in the area. The campground staff was friendly and helpful. Hope this helps.. www.michigancampground.com

Fantasy Island Campground – Sunbury, PA

Fantasy Island is a beautiful campground located on the banks of the Susquehanna River in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. We had the opportunity to stay there last fall and throughly enjoyed ourselves.

The bath houses are the cleanist we have ever come accross in traveling the US. The campsites are on the river and others have river views along with ones further back. Boating is one of the features on the river. If you have a boat it would be great which we did not but we enjoyed the views along with watching the people who do.

A large game room for enjoyment of games and gatherings is unique as it housed a carosell years ago when it was a small amusement park where the name comes from, Fantasy Island. The campers were all friendly and we experienced a sharing of food and friendly people through out the area. Wi Fi is available to all that have wireless on their computers. It works great!

We will definately come here again. The area is beautiful and good people here. I did forget to mention that is really is a Island, Packer Island.

Benchmark RV Park – Meridian, MS

Benchmark RV Park was a jewel of a park, and big-rig friendly!

The campground is neat, clean, and well maintained with long wide level sites (75′ sites each with a 10’x40′ level concrete pad). The owner was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest parks we had been to so far this year. They also have Wireless Internet, which is a must for fulltimers. More parks should be like this!

We are fulltime RVers and have visited many parks out there and this was one of the best parks we have stayed in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Tropical Palms RV Resort – Kissimmee, FL

Tropical Palms RV Resort is a part of the Encore campgrounds system and it’s one of our favorites!

This campground is definitely number one for us in Florida, even if they give only no-sewer sites for Thousand Trails members during high season. Other than that it’s a very neat, clean, nice campground, with a nice warm pool and many activities happening.

Camp Mack Lodge, Marina and RV Resort – Lake Wales, FL

Camp Mack is an “old Florida” resort that is on the Kissimmee River with great shaded areas & sunny areas for RVs.

The property has a 40-room lodge and several cabins. There is a great Outfitter Store, boat ramp, and some of the best bass fishing in Central Florida. There are boat rentals, air boat rides and it’s right across the street from the Lake Kissimmee State Park.

There is a food truck and the Gator Mack’s Sports bar. Great staff.
